Neillsville Locals (24 December 1964)


The Walter Zank house on Grand Avenue, formerly occupied by the Merlin Lindow Family, has been rented by James Whipple, new assistant state district forester for Clark County. The family plans to move here from Michigan Sunday.


Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bardell entertained their card club Sunday evening.


Mrs. George Prochazka entertained several ladies one afternoon last week at their 500 card club Christmas party. Three tables of cards were in play.


Mr. and Mrs. Robert Tibbetts and children of Beloit are expected today (Thursday) to spend Christmas and the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Brown. On Christmas Day the group will be joined by the Brown’s other daughter, Mrs. Robert Bodamer and her family of Thorp. 


Christmas Day and weekend guests of Mrs. Ella Stucki will be Mr. and Mrs. David Stucki and daughters of Madison; Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Brown and family of K. I. Sawyer AFB Mich.; and Miss Marie Stucki of Chicago. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Bremer and family of Neillsville will join the group on Christmas Day.


Ernest Campbell has re-entered Memorial Hospital for additional medical care.  He expects to spend a few hours at his home Christmas Day.
