Wednesday morning Mr. and Mrs. Donald Mueller became the proud parents of a baby son.  Their other child is a boy also, named Steven, age 2.  Congratulations to the Muellers.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kurz and sons helped Mrs. Kurz’s father, Chester Turville, celebrate his 47th birthday Wednesday evening at his home in Neillsville.

Among the local people at the Diann Manecky and Fritz Heckendorf wedding at the St. Paul Evangelical Church in Wausau were Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Luchterhand, Mr. and Mrs. Art Schaefer, Rev. John Pfohl, and Nathan Noeldner of Loyal, and Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Luchterhand and children of Abbotsford.  The reception was at 8.  Mr. and Mrs. Heckendorf will reside with his parents Mr. and Mrs. George Heckendorf of Marshfield after their honeymoon.

Mrs. Norman Maxwell entered the Marshfield hospital Tuesday for an operation.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kurz and sons entertained Roger Lee and Arlene Schaefer Sunday.

The Veefkind Homemakers club will meet at the Lowell Schultz home next Thursday evening.

Monday through Thursday Mrs. Albert Tews visited with Mr. and Mrs. Philmore Pischer in Marshfield.  On Wednesday she visited with Mrs. Bill Wichman.

Thursday Mr. and Mrs. Everett Smith took their daughter Kathy Jean home to Humbird after visiting with Mrs. Smith’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Fisher.

Mr. and Mrs. John Kurz visited with Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Tews and Virginia Wednesday night.

Sunday dinner guests at the Wm. Rahm home were Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Ayers of Unity, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Hanson and Terry, Mr. and Mrs. Emery Rahm of Colby, Mr. and Mrs Owen Hanson of Marshfield.  Supper guests were Mr. and Mrs. Dave Vanderhoof and Gloria of Marshfield.  The all helped Dickie celebrate his 15th birthday.
