Kuehn, Sue #2 (27 OCT 1962)

White and bronze pompoms adorned the altar at St. Katherine’s Episcopal Church when Miss Sue Marie Kuehn became the bride of Ronald James Stasek at a candlelight ceremony performed by the Rev. John L. English Saturday, Oct. 27, 1962, at 8:00 p.m.  The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Kuehn, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Stasek of Owen.

The bride chose for her wedding a white winter wool suit with a gold pin accenting the suit, gold satin heels, and gold hat for accessories.  She carried a colonial bouquet of pink and white roses.

Miss Ruthann Kay Kuehn, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor, attired in a gold wool dress with white satin slippers and hat.  Her colonial bouquet was made up of white roses.

Attending the groom as best man was Paul Stasek, brother of the groom.

A reception was held at the home of the parents following the ceremony.

The bride is a graduate of the Owen-Withee Public Schools, class of 1962, and attends the Eau Claire Beauty Culture School in Eau Claire.  The groom attended the Owen Senior High and is now employed with construction work.

The newlyweds will make their home in Owen.
