Hamm, Beverly M. (14 JUL 1962)

At Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Stetsonville on Saturday, July 14, 1962, Miss Beverly Marie Hamm, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hamm of Omaha, Neb., became the bride of Frank R. Kirchner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Kirchner of Omaha, Neb., at a nuptial Mass read at 9:00 a.m. by the Rev. Father Freise.

The bride was attired in a floor length gown of Chantilly lace and tulle over taffeta, had a sculptured bodice of lace featured with long tapered sleeves and a scalloped Sabrina neckline, defined by a delicate tracery of iridescent sequins and seed pearls.  The full flowering skirt was fashioned with a cascade of tulle ruffles edged in lace which drifted into an aisle-wide train.  The crown of cut crystal beads caught her bouffant veil of imported illusion lace, and she carried a cascade of red and white roses.

Mrs. Shirley Sova, an aunt of the bride, was matron of honor, with bridesmaids, Mrs. Hannah Rahn, an aunt of the bride, two cousins, Lorrain Krug and Carol Sova, and Susan Roberts of Milwaukee.  They wore identical floor length gowns of azalea red and carried bouquets of white pompons arranged on lace fans with red streamers.  Their headpieces were of cut crystal crowns.

Attending the groom was an uncle of the bride, Mr. Atlon Sova of Muskegon, Michigan, and Richard Kirchner, a brother of the groom, from Omaha, Mr. Reed Rahn, an uncle of the bride, George Krug of Curtiss and Russell Sova, a cousin of the bride from Medford.

Following the wedding a reception and dinner were served to over 200 guests in the church basement.  That evening a dance was held at Memorial Hall in Dorchester.

Out of town guests came from Council Bluffs, Iowa, Redwood Falls, Minn., Muskegon, Mich., Birchwood, Mercer, Milwaukee, Owen, West Allis and Withee.

After a wedding trip to the northern lakes in Wisconsin the newlyweds will make their home in Omaha, Neb.

The bride is a graduate of Marian Catholic High School at Omaha and also attended the Owen-Withee (Clark Co., Wis.) public schools before moving to Omaha.  The groom is a graduate of West Benson High in Omaha and is employed as stock man at the County Club Market in Omaha.
