Marten, Arlene Bernice (19 December 1936 –16 January 2012)

"In loving Memory" Heaven’s Newest Angel on January 16, 2012 - Arlene was born on December 29, 1936, to (the late) John and Alice Widmer (Cammons).  She was the cutest little doll, who grew into a redhead, freckled girl.  Popular and outgoing, Arlene graduated from Loyal High School. She met the love of her life Bill Marten, and married in 1954, in Colby, WI. They had five children together. Arlene and Bill settled in Stanley, WI, when they purchased Cloverleaf Cheese Factory, which for 20 years had the pride of world wide championships. Arlene enjoyed being secretary and making cheese trays.

She also enjoyed bowling, loved dancing, cooking and camping.  Arlene had the pleasure of traveling and occasionally playing at the casino.  Full of smiles and good humor, Arlene had a passion for her family and helping where needed.

She is survived by her children: Larry Marten, Sandra (David) Brummel, William (Jane) Marten, Jr., Allan Marten, and Randy (Eileen) Marten, Brocklyn Marten, Dustin Marten, Saige Marten, Amber and Derrick Torgerson (Brummel), Erin and Matt Gerlach (Brummel), Holly Brummel, Sara and Tim Tressert (Brummel), Courtney Johnson (Marten), Shonie Marten, Wesley and Casey Marten, Tara and John Reynolds (Marten), Samantha Marten, and Winston Marten; great-grandchildren: Sydee Barnickel (Marten), Ahren Barnickel (Marten), Victoria Marten, Gracie Marten, Brocklyn Marten, Jr., Ally Torgerson (Brummel), Lilia Gerlach (Brummel), Charlee Johnson (Marten), Walker Johnson (Marten), Gage Marten, Jarrod Marten, Aydden Marten, Ariona Marten, and Sierra marten; sisters: Janet (Widmer) (the late Clifford) Ammons, and Judy and Roger Kilty (Widmer); nieces and nephews: David and Leslie Ammons, Debbie and Richard Roherty (Ammons), Sheryl Eiberg (Ammons), Terry and Margie Kilty, Brenda and Ken Nelson (Kilty), and Brian and Barb Kilty; aunt Virginia McGhee (Cammons).
