Mrs. Robert Machel came home from Stevens Point Saturday.

 

Miss Amanda Machel returned from Stevens Point Saturday and went to Neillsville Monday to attend teachers’ examination.

 

Miss Alice Johnson and a large company of her young friends enjoyed the birthday surprise party on the occasion of her 15th birthday last Saturday.

 

Robert Galbreath continues to be very ill.

 

James Johnson is building a concrete well house for Ross Paulson at Granton.

 

Rev. Jos. Brown of Marshfield came Saturday and spent several days at the Andrew Short home.

 

Frank Johnson has finished his studies at Stevens Point Business College and been home since Monday.

 

A.A. Gates transacted business at Granton on Saturday.

 

Peter Hohenstein went to Bradley Friday.

 

Wm. Schultz has accepted a position on his uncle Paul Schultz’s farm at Sidney, just west of Neillsville, and left for that place Friday.
