Schmeiser, Joan F. (4 NOV 1961)

 

Miss Joan Frieda Schmeiser, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schmeiser, Medford, and William M. Kovatch, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Kovatch, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), were married Saturday, Nov. 4, 1961, at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Medford.

 

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a brocaded satin floor length gown, her bridal veil being held in place by a crown.  She carried an arrangement of red roses.

 

The bridal attendants, Mrs. Carole Kause, Belleville, Mich., the matron of honor, and Miss Ardella Dassow, Medford, the bridesmaid, were attired in blue and pink, respectively.  Their waltz length dresses had peplum backs trimmed with flowers and they had matching hats.

 

The flower girls were Carla Schmeiser and Debra Novak.

 

The wedding reception was held at the V.F.W Hall and the wedding dance at Lake Esadore Hall.

 

Mrs. Kovatch, a 1957 graduate of Medford High School, has been employed at Anthony’s Clothing Store.  Mr. Kovatch, a 1951 graduate of Owen High School, is a construction worker for A.F. Keyes, Inc.  They are residing in the town of Hammel.
