New County Courthouse (Bids - 1964)
Bids for the new Clark County courthouse were being advertised this week by the courthouse building committee. The call is for bids on general construction, plumbing, heating, ventilating and air, electrical work and an elevator.
The bids must be submitted at the office of the county clerk in the courthouse not later than 2 p.m. Thursday, March 26 and must be accompanied by a bid bond of at least five percent and not more than 10 percent of the bid, or by a certified check for five percent.
Plans are available from the office of the county clerk, or from Carl W. Schubert & Associates, architects, of La Crosse.
