Greenwood (Blue & Gold Banquet - 1964)

 

On Monday at 6:30 p.m. the Cub Scouts of Pack No. 58 and their parents held their Blue and Gold banquet. Also participating were the Boy Scouts of Troop No. 58 and their parents, who held an achievement night. Approximately 125 were present for the potluck supper, held in Our Savior’s Lutheran Church dining hall.

 

William Snedic acted as master of ceremonies. The meeting opened with the presentation of colors by Boy Scout Troop 58. The invocation was given by the Rev. Arvid Myhrwold. Skits were presented by Den No. 1 in charge of their Den Mother, Mrs. Robert Clintsman; and by Den No. 2 directed by their Den Mothers, Mrs. Duane Bjerke and Mrs. Arvid Myhrwold.

 

Cubmaster, William Snedic presented Cub Scout graduation awards to Michael Mech, Robert Clintsman, Michael Kuchenbecker, Edward Gregorich, Peter Myhrwold and John Smith.

 

Scoutmaster Robert Gannon presented tenderfoot awards to Leslie Fontaine, Brian Gracyalny, John Schneider, John Felix, Frank Abel, George Groff and George Plautz.  Second class pins were awarded to Robert Caliebe, James Zepaltus, George Groff, James Bartelt and Jeffrey Gracyalny.  Four merit badges were awarded to Leonard Susa. The closing ceremonies were in charge of Boy Scout Troop No. 58.
