The Circle will meet with Mrs. Fred Cole next week Wednesday.

Oscar Johnson transacted business at Neillsville on Saturday.

Mrs. Frank Furgeson and Viva Drake were Neillsville visitors Saturday.

Mrs. Fred Bredlau, after a several day visit among relatives here returned to Loyal on Friday.

Mrs. S. Winn and Mrs. Guy Winn spent Friday with friends at Neillsville.

Mrul Gurney and Miss Tessie Sweet left for their home at Ogallie Neb. last Friday.

Mrs. Albert Davis and the Misses Maria and Ora Davis were Marshfield visitors Tuesday.

Prof G.D. Vincent came home from Chicago were he had been on a business trip, on Tuesday.

Miss Myrtle Knorr spent Wednesday at Chili engaged with giving music lessons.

Mrs. G.D. Vincent and baby Gertrude are visiting relatives at Plymouth since Wednesday.

Herman Wegner and G. Riedel transacted business at the county seat Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Campbell spent Sunday with relatives at Neillsville.

Frank Tompkins is home on a visit to his parents, since late last week.

Mrs. John Schafer and children came home Tuesday from Wausau where they have been visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. D.N. Klein.

Robert Galbreath is home from Rochester, Minn., since Tuesday, where he has been consulting physicians regarding his health.

Noble Downer purchased a Ford touring car from Knorr & Rausch early this week.

Mrs. Wayne Miller of Ohio, formerly Miss Kittie Marsh of Neillsville, visited her cousin Miss Ora Marsh last Friday.

F.T. Weeks, Dentist, office over Snyder’s store, Neillsville.

Vet Marsh of Humbird called on friends here early this week.

Miss Ella Nickel went to Stevens Point yesterday.

Mrs. Herman Schoengarth has been on the sick list this week.

Mrs. hasz and children spent Saturday with friends at Marshfield.

Walter Sternitzky went to Oshkosh last Saturday where he is visiting friends.

Mrs. Albert Davis was a Marshfield caller Monday.

Geo. hart and family autoed to Humbird Sunday and visited relatives, returning the next day.

Mrs. Henry Lawson and daughter Myrtle spent Wednesday with friends at Neillsville.

Henry Eisenhart and family are visiting rleatives at Humbird since yesterday.

Mr. and Mrs. Earl Freeman of Duluth are here on a week’s visit at the Geo. Hart home.

Mrs. N.E. Crandall of Neillsville, with a niece, were over Sunday, guests at the Gene Crandall home.

Philmore Kemmeter and Hugh  Berg motored to Marshfield last Sunday afternoon.

An electric storm accompanied by heavy wind visited this part of the country early Thursday morning.

Mr. and Mrs. L.G. Morris and son Grant are visiting relatives at Cambria since yesterday.

Norma Schmoll came home Tuesday after a several day visit at her uncle, Chas. Wiesener’s.

Miss Myrtle Knorr entertained a jolly bunch of her school mates at a miscellaneous shower for Miss Vera Beeckler last Saturday morning.

Parcels may be sent C.D.D. by post since July 1, 1913, since which time too, it is not necessary to have a special parcel post stamp.  Letter postage may be used on the parcels.

Carl Monske left here Wednesday enroute to new York where he will embark for Germany, his native country.

Mrs. Richard Anding of Altoona and her sister, Miss Elsie Breseman arrived here last Friday for a visit with relatives.

One of John Dietrich’s boys was attacked by a swarm of bees one day last week and stung to such an extent that it was necessary to call medical aid.

L. waterman and wife of Winona visited Mrs. Gusta Breed early this week.

Mrs. Olive Needham, after a few weeks visit here with her nephew Geo. Amidon and family, returned to Melrose Monday morning.

Mrs. M.V. Ayers returned to Neillsville Monday after a visit at her son Gust’s.

The Mesdames Rush Wentworth, Gen Crandall, Gust Creed, and Hale Davis were Neillsville visitors Monday.

Miss Amanda Heisler came home Tuesday evening from a several days absence at Richland Center and Oshkosh.

Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Boley of Sheboygan, who were here to attend the Beeckler-Waterman wedding, left for home on Wednesday.

Leonard Cole came home from Cornell Friday.  He goes to Stevens Point Monday to accept a good position.

Levi Morris returned home Saturday from his trip to the southern part of the state.

Mrs. Elizabeth Curtis of Wautoma came last Friday on a several days visit to her son, W.J. Davis and his family.

Mr. Wiggin of Glenbeulah is visiting at the W.D. Rose home since Saturday.

 Mrs. E.R. Wonser enjoyed an over Sunday visit from a half-brother who came up from Reedsburg on Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Frei, Mrs. Wm. Storm and Mrs. Gerzemehle drove down and spent Sunday at the Joe Frei home in Levis.

Mrs. Clemens Kuechenmeister, her brother Louis Hantke and little daughter Marion are home from their visit at Milwaukee since Tuesday.

Miss Marjorie Jacques of Neillsville was the guests of Mrs. F.J. Baer Wednesday and Thursday.

Mrs. Baer will entertain the O.E.S. Birthday Club next weed Saturday, the 12^th.  All visiting O.E.S. are welcome.

Robert Sternitzky and family of Mosinee are visiting at the Henry Sternitzky home since Wednesday.

Rev. E.A. Wolfe will hole services at the Union Church here Sunday evening at 8 o’clock.  Everyone is welcome.

Miss Clara Hubing is enjoyed the visit of a young lady cousin from Michigan since early this week.

Mrs. August Arndt and children arrived here Wednesday from Montana to again take up their residence in Clark County.  Mr. Arndt will join them here in the near future.

Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Berg autoed to Greenwood Wednesday evening and brought his sister and her two children home with them.

The Steckert Orchestra gave a concert and dance here Wednesday evening, which proved to be a very enjoyable affair.

Mrs. Albion Downer and little son are here from Rhinelander visiting at the Noble Downer home since Tuesday.  Albion is to join them here today.

The person who took Mrs. Home Downer’s watch from her dining room table Tuesday morning is known to Mrs. Downer and she announces here that if the watch is returned to her by Sunday noon, no question will be asked, otherwise the full penalty will be meted out to the offender.

The ladies of the Advancement Club are at present engaged in soliciting funds to build a cement walk from the bridge to the school house.  The undertaking is a noble one and we hope the ladies will be successful in raising the required amount which means about 500 or 600 dollars.  It is something that is badly needed and everyone ought to do his best to help the good thing along.

G.E. Munger of Seymour came up last week Thursday and remained until Tuesday visiting Clyde Shaw, Mrs. Hattie Beeckler and Arthur Johnson of the York Creamery.

Mrs. Hattie Beeckler went to Seymour Wednesday in response to news of the death at Chicago of her aunt, Mrs. Helen Smith, a sister of the former’s mother, Mrs. Frances Burdick of Seymour.  The funeral will be held in Seymour.

Mrs. Ed Soles went to Marshfield Wednesday morning and came home at noon, accompanied by her husband who had been at the hospital there for several weeks past.  He is weak, but expects to be O.K. when he has regained his strength.

Earl Marsh of Duluth spent several days here the latter part of last week with home folks.  He was on his way home from Lake City, Minn., where he had attended a week’s encampment of the Minnesota State Militia.

Mrs. Destinon and three children, with Miss Tillie Destinon, all of Wausau, spent the first part of the week here at the Henry Sternitzky home, continuing on to Neillsville to visit relatives on Wednesday.
