Bladl, Frances (27 February 1881 - 24 October 1963)

 

Funeral services were conducted Monday for Mrs. Charles Bladl, 82, of Granton, who died last Thursday in Owen.  The Rev. Fr. Bernard T. Kelly officiated at the services from St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Neillsville. Burial was made in the parish cemetery.

 

Mrs. Bladl, the former Frances Schutz, was born February 27, 1881, in Hokah, Minn.  She was married there to Charles Bladl, February 20, 1900.

 

She is survived by four children: Carl Bladl of Granton, Mrs. Kathern Bray of Anaheim, Calif., Mrs. Anna Zahradka of Granton, and Paul Bladl of Owen.  Other survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Walter Becker and Mrs. William Becker, both of Caledonia, Minn., and Mrs. Anna Scheean of Minneapolis, Minn.; (?) grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.

 

A rosary service was said Sunday evening at the Georgas Funeral Home.

 

Pallbearers were: Vernon Steinbach, Dale Wesenberg, James Wunsch, Richard Eibergen, Melvin Koplitz and Paul Bladl, Jr.

 

People from away attending the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Carl Bladl, Mrs. Anna Zahradka, Gust Bergemann, Mr. and Mrs. William Schmidtke, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Walter, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Wesenberg and family, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Eibergen and family, Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Steinbach and family, all of Granton; Mrs. Rillie Walter and Mrs. Mary Kubat of Loyal; Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Knapp of Pittsville; Richard Bladl of Ft. Hood, Tex, U. S. Army; Mr. and Mrs. Paul Bladl, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cieslik, Mr. and Mrs. William Hoeper, all of Owen; Mr. and Mrs. Paul Bladl of Newton, Ia.; Mr. and Mrs. Mike Koplitz and family of Withee.
