Kuester, Patricia (28 NOV 1959)

During a 2:30 o’clock ceremony on Nov. 28, 1959, Miss Patricia Kuester and Gordon Rolland, both of Milwaukee, exchanged their marriage vows.

The Rev. O. Egbert officiated in the West Side United Church of Christ at Greenwood.  Mrs. Leona Alberts was organist as Elmer Humke sang "I Love You Truly."

Parents of the bridal couple are Mr. and Mrs. Elmer D. Kuester of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), and Mr. and Mrs. Sever Rolland Sr., Stanley.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a floor length dress trimmed in white Chantilly lace with a Sabrina neckline and simulated pearls were worn by the bride.  Her bouquet was fashioned of white chrysanthemums and red carnations.

Miss Becky Kuester of Thorp was maid of honor at her sister’s wedding.  Bridesmaids were Mrs. Roger Anderson of Milwaukee and the groom’s sister-in-law, Mrs. Shirley Rolland of Stanley.

They wore red organza dresses trimmed with white lace and complemented by white angora hats and muffs.

Attending the groom as best man was Roger Anderson of Milwaukee.  Groomsmen were Tom Kuester, Milwaukee, and Victor Rolland, Stanley.  Jay LaBonte and Conrad Barth of Milwaukee ushered.

A wedding reception for 250 guests was held in the church parlors at Greenwood and a dance in the evening was at the Legion Hall in Thorp.

Mrs. Rolland is a graduate of Thorp High School and has been employed with the Trans World Airlines.  Her husband attended Stanley High School and is employed by Perfex Corp.  Their home address is 1024 East Ogden, Milwaukee.
