Harding, Nancy P. (29 AUG 1959)

 

Mr. and Mrs. H.L. Harding, Appleton, announce the marriage of their daughter Nancy Patricia to Richard S. Alger, previously of Thorp (Clark Co.), Wis., son of Mr. and Mrs. Sherman L. Alger, Rt. 1, Chippewa Falls, Wis.

 

The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. M.O. Smith at the lake Street Methodist Church in Eau Claire, Wis. in a candlelight setting, Saturday, Aug. 29th, 1959.

 

Miss Sharon lemke, Waukesha, the miad of honor, wore a waltz length lavender dress and carried a yellow carnation cascade bouquet.  She is the bride’s roommate.

 

The bride wore a floor length dress of satin with Chantilly lace over jacket, with a Sabrina neckline.  Her crown was fashioned of seed pearls and pearl droplets.  Her bouquet was of red Sweetheart roses and stephanotis.

 

The groom was attended by Edward J. Bieno, Thorp.

 

The bride’s mother wore a navy blue dress with navy and white accessories.  The groom’s mother wore a beige dress with green accessories.

 

The groom is a June graduate of Wis. State College at Eau Claire, and the bride will graduate from the Madison Vocational School of Practical Nursing in November.

 

After a honeymoon trip in northern Wisconsin, the couple will reside at 417 Washington Ave., Wis. Dells, where the groom is a student pastor.
