Funeral services were held Friday afternoon from the Myre Funeral Home in Loyal for Mrs. Archie Dorn, 80, who died October 2, in Owen. The Rev. Paul Doering of the Methodist Church officiated.  Burial was made in the York Center Cemetery.

Mrs. Dorn, the former Mamie Rondorf, was born February 6, 1883, in the Town of York.  She taught rural schools before her marriage to Archie Dorn on October 7, 1906, in Spokane, Wash.  They lived in Washington for several years before returning to the home farm in York.  They later moved onto a farm north of Loyal, and in 1935 they returned to a farm in the Town of York.

Mrs. G. W. Nelson and Mrs. Paul Doering sang, "Abide with Me" and "Under His Wings" accompanied by Mrs. Byron Zepplin at the organ.  Royal Neighbors attended the service in a body.
