Pieper, Reinhardt (16 AUG 1897-13 SEPT 1957)

 

Reinhardt C. Pieper, 60, Loyal, died at his home Friday, September 13, at 12:15 a.m. of a liver ailment.

 

Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. John Pfohl, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, at 2 p.m. Monday at the Myre Funeral Home and burial was in the Lutheran Cemetery.

 

Mr. Pieper was born in Dodge County, August 6, 1897, and came to the town of Beaver with his parents in 1900. He was married at Greenwood, October 1, 1925 to Sophia Susa. He was a cheese maker until 1930 when he began operating the farm that has ever since been his home.

 

Survivors are his wife; one daughter Genevieve at home, a sister, Mrs. William Fuhrman, Loyal: and a brother, Arnold Pieper, Loyal. One brother and one sister preceded him in death.

 

Pallbearers were Harold Cook, Alfred Anderson, James Haliowell, Russell Johnson, Ted Piekola, and Carl Morrow.

 

The hymns, "Abide With Me" and "What a Friend We have In Jesus" were sung by Mr. Ervin Dux and Mrs. Ervin Noeldner. Miss Carol Noeldner was organist.

 

Relatives from out of town who attended were from Greenwood, Curtiss, and Abbotsford.
