Sauerkraut City (9 June 1910)
We were quite alarmed Monday night when we saw Wm. Neinas barn all ablaze about 12 o’clock that night. The fire was caused by lightning. The loss is quite heavy. The thunder and lightning has been so much the last few weeks that all are used to it by this time. There were several neighbors who never knew that the barn was burnt, till the next morning.
Wm Wagner, E. Neinas and F. Lichte were the ones that hauled cheese for Otto Becker, Monday.
Mrs. H. Brown was at Granton Tuesday.
Get your cow bells ready for next week.
Carl Umbold who has been working for Harry Eide the past few years will leave for Norway to see his father who is reported very ill.
Peter Faber delivered hogs to Marshfield Wednesday.
