B.F. Frazier was at Granton on Tuesday.

 

August and Emil Krause went to town Monday.

 

Frank Smith shipped some veal Monday.

 

Mable Scheler spent Sunday at home.

 

Emil Krause was at Scheier’s last Friday.

 

Lottie Scheier visited school here one day last week.

 

Mrs. Walter Moldenhauer is home since lastsaturday.

 

Albert and Ernest Porath transacted business at Granton Monday.

 

Mrs. B.F. Frazier is so far recovered as to be able to visit neighbors.

 

Henry Porath is working at Granton fro August Lautenbach.

 

Mr. Morris is back again carrying mail for us, after a week’s vacation.

 

Walter Moldenhauer is at hoem this week as it is took muddy to move his mille to the next job.

 

Several in this neighborhood went fishing Sunday.  The only thing caught however, was a mud turtle.

 

Their case must have been somewhat the same as the story told about little Johnny.  A gentleman met the boy trudging homeward, carrying his pole and bait can, and showing the marks of a hard afternoon’s tramp.  "Well," asked the gentleman, as he look Johnny over, "what did you catch?" " I dunno," replied Johnny, "I ain’t been home yet."
