Her finger-tip veil fell from a crown-like headdress of seed pearls and rhinestones, and pearls and rhinestones trimmed the bottom on the veil.

Her flowers were a cascade bouquet of red roses, white carnations, stephanotis and ferns.

Her attendants were her sister, Miss Barbara Weix of Colby, who served as maid of honor, and a cousin, Miss Caarol Leink of Stratford who was her bridesmaid. They wore full length dresses of touquoise lace over tourquoise taffeta , with scooped neckline, cap sleeves, and cummerbunds crisscrossing in front and extending the length of the dresses in the back. They carried colonial bouquets of white carnations and yellow mums.

A noon time brunch and a supper were served in the dining room of St. Mary's School and a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents.

Both mothers wore pink linen dresses, white accessories and corsages of roses and carnations.
