Dobrzanski, Joseph (17 DEC 1885 - 29 JAN 1959)

 

Last rites were held at ten o’clock Monday morning, Feb. 2, for Joseph Dobrzanski, 73, who died of a heart attack while sitting in his home in the city on Thursday, Jan. 29th, 1959.  Services were conducted by Father Francis Piekarski at the Thorp Funeral Home Chapel.

 

The deceased was born in Poland Dec. 17, 1885.  He had been a resident of the Town of Withee for many years and moved to the city of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) after retiring from farming about two years ago.  He is survived by his wife, Frances, to whom he was united in marriage in Chicago on Oct. 20, 1934.  Also he has three stepsons, Casimer Kowalski, Bellewood, Ill., Joe Kowalski, Chicago and Edwin Kowalski, Farmington, N.M., three step daughters, Mrs. George Brown, Westchester, Ill., Mrs. John Hendriks and Mrs. Sidney Alger Jr., Thorp.

 

Interment took place in St. Hedwig’s Cemetery.  Pallbearers were Victor Zielinski, Tony Lesniewski, Martin Nowak, John Czech, Joe Panek and Pete Wnek.
