A farewell party took place at the home of Mr. Herman Riedel last Saturday evening in honor of Miss Nora Riedel who will soon leave for Nevada.

Herman Jensen’s neighbors are helping him haul sand.

Herman Riedel and Carl Renne were Granton callers last Saturday.

We do not intend to find fault with others but if these goody goodies who take delight in meddling with other people’s business could have the foresight to see how sorely they are neglecting their own welfare, they might sit up and take notice.  Your little town at present may prosper but kindly bear in mind it is not your good looks that brings your prosperity, but those who you’re are trying to tramp under your feet.

When the first explosion of the band burst forth on the cold and frosty air last Saturday evening, Jake Henning’s faithful hound, and has never feared man or beast, took to the woods and has never been heard from since.

Fred Zuehlke took some hogs to Chili Monday.
