Alyssa Kovalaske, Abbotsford, and Bryce Schoenborn, Eau Claire, were united in marriage July 23, 2011, at Abbotsford Evangelical Free Church with Pastor Bruce Jahnke presiding. 

 

The bride is the daughter of Ronald Kovalaske, Owen, and Louise Becker, Abbotsford. The groom is the son of Tim and Patti Schoenborn, Dorchester. 

 

The maid of honor was Erin Haas, Providence RI, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Christina Writz, Phillips, sister of the groom; Rebecca Schoenborn, Eau Claire, sister of the groom; Gabriella Becker, Medford, cousin of the bride; and Cheryl Anderson, Wausau, aunt of the bride.

 

The best man was Jory Podevels, Abbotsford, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Jacob Mueller, Milwaukee, friend of the groom; Michael Mineau, Green Bay, friend of the groom; Brian Rougeux, Eau Claire, friend of the groom; and Abraham Becker, Abbotsford, brother of the bride.

 

Ushers were Austin Schoenborn, Colby, cousin of the groom; and Philip Writz, Phillips, brother-in-law of the groom.

 

Robin Bichanich provided music during the ceremony.

 

The bride wore a strapless, princess-style dress with a sweetheart neckline adorned with a side bow and rhinestones. Flowers were yellow and white daisies, yellow sweet heart roses and button mums. 

 

Frese Frame of Medford was the photographer for the event.

 

The reception was held at the Centennial Community Center in Stetsonville with 160 guests.

 

The couple took their honeymoon at a cabin in northern Wisconsin for a week. They will make their home in Madison. 

 

The bride is a 2008 graduate of Abbotsford High School and will graduate in May with a degree in early childhood education from Madison Area Technical College. She works at Kid’s Junction in Madison. 

 

The groom is a 2007 graduate of Abbotsford High School. He graduated from UW-Eau Claire in 2011 and is currently attending law school at UW-Madison.
