There was no school Friday in District No. 2.  Miss Brooks attended the teachers institute at Neillsville.

 

Roy Lawrence sawed wood for Chas. Campbell Thursday and Friday.

 

Dan Timerson and E.G. Rowe hauled hay to Romadka Saturday for the latter.

 

Forest Rowe cut corn stalks for Wm. Vande Berg Saturday.

 

Rev. S.A. Bender, district superintendent, conducted quarterly conference in the M.W. Church Saturday afternoon.  He also occupied the M.E. pulpit Sunday afternoon.

 

Mrs. Mary Fulwiler was the guest of Hattie Turner Saturday afternoon.

 

Allie Turner was busy tot eh past week building a new cupboard for Mrs. Dan Timerson.

 

Mrs. Jennie Fulwiler and daughter violet and Mrs. Mary Fulwiler spent Friday at Mrs. E. Lawrence’s.

 

Mrs. S.A. Lindsley is on the sick list.

 

Len Howard autoed through this vicinity Monday.

 

Mrs. Ed Soles invited the Royal Neighbors to spend Thrusday at her home.  Those present had a nice time.

 

Hans Olson purchased a horse at Neillsville, Saturday.

 

Wm., Ernest and Walter Rowe and families helped Mrs. Jennie Fulwiler celebrate her birthday Wednesday.

 

Geo. Phipps gave a Valentine party at his home Friday night.  There were about 30 present.  The evening was spent in playing games.  Cleo Daughhetee and brother Theorn entertained the crowd with some fine music.  Refreshments were served and all report a jolly good time.
