Davis, Pleysa (3 January 1885 - 7 July 1964)

 

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon from the Georgas Funeral Home for Mrs. Pleysa Davis, 79, of Neillsville, who died here July 7. The Rev. Paul Doering of Loyal officiated.  Burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

 

Pallbearers were: Fred Wall, A. C. Janke, Ed Voight, Ronald Gluch, Gilbert Lawrence and Paul Frischman.

 

"Sweetly Resting" and "Have Thine Own Way" were sung by Ellis Wall, accompanied by Mrs. Jess W. Scott.

 

Out of town people attending the service were: Morris Davis of Chicago, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Ken Griffith and Celesta, and Mrs. Blanche Griffith, of Rosendale; Mr. and Mrs. Carlten Stubs, Donald and Carol Stubs, of Oshkosh; Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Hughes, and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Morris of Milwaukee; Mrs. R. J. Zickert of Waupun; Mr. and Mrs. Ray Mortimer and Mr. and Mrs. Dave Smith of Loyal; Paul Frischman, George Mortimer, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Lawrence, all of Granton.
