Olsen, Mr. and Mrs. Chris (20 June 1917-June 1957)

Mr. and Mrs. Chris Olsen were pleasantly surprised when relatives met at the home of their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and mrs. John A. Olsen to help them celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary.

Dinner guests were Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Olsen and Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Marg, Marshfield: Mr. and Mrs. Vern Olsen and children, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Quast, and Mr. and Mrs. Glen Sisson and children, Milwaukee; the Rev. & Mrs. Floyd Olsen and children, Wausau; Mr. and Mrs. James Stevens and daughter, Montello.

Miss Oral Olsen, Spring Green; Mr. and Mrs. Howard Olsen and children, Owen; Mrs. Annie Dyre, Mr. and mrs. Godfrey Dyre and children, and Mrs. Josie Hubble, Greenwood; and Mr. and Mrs. John Olsen, Mr. and Mrs. Sigward Johnson, Mrs. Glen Bloom and Johnny, and Mr. and Mrs. John A. Olsen and children, Loyal.

Among those guests were the six sons and one daughter-in-law of the Olsens. One of the guests, Sigward Johnson, was an attendant at the wedding which took place in Greenwood, June 20, 1917.

The dining table, centered with a wedding cake, was decorated with flowers and wedding bells.

Many friends called during open house hours in the afternoon.
