Mr. I. Hagan asked a score of his neighbors to come Thursday and assist him in raising a log house in his place south of Lindsey.  They put up a neat building and then all remained for supper except Will Hartl, who was afraid and went home.

 

The Lindsey Telephone Co. held their annual meeting Friday.  The officers were re-elected.

 

Ed Maxfield is moving to Sheldon to work in a mill.

 

O.B. Elwood is loading two cars of stock and movables here and will go onto a stock farm in Iowa.

 

Art Seifert, the bachelor hunter of Clark County, is going to Milwaukee to work at his trade for a time.

 

Religious fervor has evidently taken a slump when they load up a church and haul it out.

 

This is the blacksmith’s harvest as horses can’t stay on the icy ground without being shod.
