Karen Izydorek, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond V. Izydorek, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), and Thomas Webber, Stanley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry L. Webber, were united in marriage Saturday morning in St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Thorp by the Rev. Herbert J. Hoffman.  Bouquets of pink and blue carnations decorated the altar and sides of the communion rail.

 

On the arm of her father the bride entered the church wearing a floor-length nylon tulle dress over satin with a V-neckline.  An illusion lace veil flowed from a crown headpiece with small pearls and sequins.  She carried white resoes and pink and blue forget-me-nots in a crescent shape.

 

Judy Bogumill, Thorp, served as maid of honor, with Mary Magadance, Eau Claire, as bridesmaid, and Raeleen Izydorek as junior bridesmaid.  They wore pink and blue floor-length strapless gowns with jackets of Alencon lace, and ruffles of bouffant skirts.  Matching picture hats were worn and they carried fan-shaped pink and blue carnations outlined with forget-me-nots.

 

The groom’s attendants were Jack Sneen, Stanley, as best man, and Ed Valk, Stanley, as groomsman.

 

Don Izydorek, brother of the bride, and Bob Webber, brother of the groom, acted as ushers.

 

The bride’s mother wore Taupe sheath with matching accessories and a pink and blue carnation corsage.  The groom’s mother wore a blue and black print dress with black accessories and a pink and blue carnation corsage.

 

Following the wedding, a breakfast and a reception were held in the American Legion Hall in Thorp.  Ed Thorson, Chippewa Falls, played the organ during the breakfast and reception.

 

The groom is a graduate of Stanley High School and is employed by the Dolly Madison Dairies in Eau Claire.  The bride is a graduate of Thorp High School.

 

Following a wedding trip to Mackinac Island and Canada, the couple will make their home at 1811 Western Ave., in Eau Claire.

 

Guests were from: Thorp, Stanley, Marshfield, Chippewa, Jim Falls, Eau Claire, Milwaukee, Osseo, Packwaukee, Green Bay, Chicago, Ill., Union Grove, Minneapolis, Minn.
