Mr. and Mrs. Ed Karlen and Mr. and Mrs. Nick Voytovich and children spent the weekend at the Ernest Karlen home in Waukegan, Ill.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Anderson and son Ronald spent Saturday in Rochester where Ronald had a checkup at the Mayo Clinic.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Nels Bye sold their farm to the Orneal Johnson family and purchased a home in Stanley.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Herbert May spent Sunday at the Kattre cottage at Lake Wissota.

 

Twelve members of the Pioneer Women’s Club enjoyed a chicken dinner at the Hotel Café on Thursday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Field and son of Monroe, and Mrs. Martha Mau of Janesville, spent the weekend at the Charles Anderson Sr. home.

 

Henry Anderson of Owen and grandson of Des Moines, Iowa, were callers at the H. May home on Saturday.

 

Mrs. Charles Anderson Sr., and Mrs. Murmie Anderson entertained the Christian Nurture Circle at the home of the former, Tuesday evening.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hansen and daughter were shopping in Eau Claire on Wednesday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Winston Wohld and Mrs. Olga Corwin visited Jack Fossum at Sacred Heart Hospital, Eau Claire, on Monday.

 

Mrs. Elmer Soderberg entertained the County Line Club at her home on Tuesday.

 

Russell Johnson of Milwaukee spent Wednesday at the Winston Wohld home.
