Schutte, Joanne (Marriage - 9 March 1963)

 

Joanne Schutte, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Schutte of Neillsville and David St. John, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard St. John of Granton, were married Saturday, March 9, at 3 o’clock at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Neillsville, by the pastor, Rev. Norman Lindloff.

 

Attending the pair were Miss Dianne Schutte, twin sister of the bride, Daniel St. John, brother of the groom, and William Buettner, all of Neillsville; and Carol Johnson of the groom, of Milwaukee.

 

A reception for wedding guests was held at St. John’s Lutheran school following the ceremony. Those from out of town attending were: Mr. and Mrs. Louis Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. William Ross, and Mrs. Ponering of Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Orville Marohn and family and Arthur Ponering of Oshkosh; Mrs. William Christianson and sons, Raymond and Frank of Baraboo; Marvin Schutte, Essmond, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. George Beirow and family, Mr. and Mrs. Fredrick Schutte and family of Fort Atkinson; Mr. and Mrs. Dedo Furan, Edgerton; Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Christman and nieces Martha and Irene, of Owen; Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Scholze and family of Humbird; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Marg and family and Mr. and Mrs. David Marg of Black River Falls; Mr. and Mrs. Rolla Sieg and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Durst and family and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Dust of Fairchild; Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Sieg of Alma Center; Mr. and Mrs. Richard Sieg of Hixton; Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Scholze of Wisconsin Rapids; and Mr. and Mrs. Lee Mathews of Merrillan, besides many other relatives and friends of he Neillsville area.

 

The couple will make their home in Lake Geneva.
