Noble, Marlene (Marriage –1963)

Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Rapids was the setting Saturday for a candlelight nuptial ceremony uniting in marriage Miss Marlene Noble, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Nobel of Davenport, Ia., and Del Lee Korth, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Korth of Neillsville.  The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Ernest Kuechle.

For her wedding, the bride was attired in a street-length bridal gown of Chantilly lace, styled with a fully gathered skirt. The Basque bodice was accented with a scalloped scoop neckline.  A jeweled crown held the bridal veil, and bridal bouquet was made of blue and white roses with white stephanotis.

The maid of honor was Miss Shirley Finck of Wisconsin Rapids, who was dressed in a pastel blue organza over taffeta street length frock, styled with a scoop neckline and fully gathered skirt, and finished with a deep hemline.  She wore a crystal headpiece with a matching halo veil.  Her floral arrangement consisted of blue and white roses in a small basket.

James Olson of Wisconsin Rapids was bestman.  Ushers were two friends of the bride and groom from Wisconsin Rapids.

A reception was held in the church dining hall, and was attended by 60 guests.

The bride is a graduate of Davenport, Ia., high school, and Mr. Korth of Spencer High School.  On their return from a wedding trip to Iowa and points south, Mr. and Mrs. Korth will reside in Wisconsin Rapids. The groom is employed by a paper factory in Biron.
