Baker, Mr. & Mrs. Frank (60th - 9 APR 1958)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Baker, 220 Lincoln St., Stanley, observed their 60th wedding anniversary on Sunday, April 13, 1958.  A small family dinner was served at their home at noon with a beautifully decorated wedding cake centering the table.

 

The former Effie Flora and Frank Baker was united in marriage in Stanley, on April 9th, 1898.  They had four children, Frank of Dorchester, Clarence of Iron Mt., Mich., Mrs. Joseph (Olive) Kern, and a daughter Alice, now deceased.  They also have 18 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.  A highlight of the day was a congratulatory message they received by phone from their son, Clarence.

 

Mr. Baker is 83 years young and his wife 84, both are enjoying good health.

 

They lived for many years at Eidsvold (Clark Co., Wis.), before moving to Stanley.
