Krause, Elsie (Marriage - 16 February 1911)

A very pretty and quiet wedding took place last Thursday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gottlieb Krause when their second daughter Elsie was united in the holy bonds of matrimony to Mr. Freeman Dankemyer of Fremont, by Rev. Reiff.

The bride was very beautifully attired in a dress of cream colored serge, while the groom wore black.  They were attended by Miss Louise Krause, a sister of the bride and by Martin Dankemyer, a brother of the groom.

The wedding took place at high noon and after which a bounteous dinner was served.  The couple then took the train for St. Paul on a short tour.  Mrs. Dankemyer was reared from childhood in this vicinity and is dearly loved by all who know her.  She taught several terms of school and has spent much time in caring for her invalid father.  Mr. Dankemyer although not so well known has made many friends in this neighborhood and that he is Elsie’s choice speaks well in his favor.  He is a cheesemaker by trade and owns a farm near his father’s place.  They will begin housekeeping in a part of the factory in Fremont until they get a house built on the farm.  We all wish them a happy and prosperous life.
