Sollberger, Emma (9 SEP 1893 - 14 MAR 1970)

 

Neillsville - Services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Georgas Funeral Home for Mrs. John (Emma) Sollberger, 76, route 2, Neillsville (Clark Co., Wis.), who died at her home Saturday.  The Rev. Robert Bitters, Globe, will officiate and burial will take place in the Neillsville Cemetery.

 

The former Emma Buelow was born Sept. 9, 1893, in Sauk County and was educated at Merrimac.  The family moved to Humbird in 1907 and later the Neillsville area, locating in the town of Hewett.  She was married on July 1, 1913, at Neillsville, to John Sollberger, who preceded her in death on April 18, 1967.  She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church at Globe.

 

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Lawrence (Frances) Kolbrak, Altoona, and Mrs. Elmer (Alice) Hoesly, Marshfield; three sisters, Mrs. William (Caroline) Eschenbach, Baraboo; Mrs. Kate VanHorn, Humbird, and Mrs. Lillian Moffatt, King, and three grandchildren.

 

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Sollberger was preceded in death by three brothers.
