Tucker, Kathryn R. (10 APR 1906)

At 8 o’clock p.m. Tuesday, April 10, 1906, Mr. Phillip W. Hales of Osseo and Miss Kathryn R. Tucker were married at the residence of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. A.H. Tucker, Rev. Wilson Mallory of the Church of Christ of Stevens Point tying the nuptial knot under an evergreen arch amidst quantities of cram roses in the presence of some 40 relatives and intimate friends.

The bride was most beautifully gowned in blue and was attended by her close friend Miss Margaret C. Chapel, who wore cream.  The table decorations were roses.  The wedding presents were numerous, costly, useful and beautiful.  The bride is one of York’s most lovely young ladies.  She was born in York and grew to womanhood there; socially she has always been a favorite with the young people.  They left for Osseo, their future home, yesterday, and it is expected that the people of Osseo will find her a welcome adjunct in their social affairs.

The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. A.W. hales, a young man of industry with promise of a happy and prosperous future, one who is held in high esteem by all who know him.  He has charge of a creamery at Osseo, a competent and worthy business manager.

These worthy young people starting out in this new relation have the best wishes of the News added to those of their host of friends.
