Lynn (16 December 1910)

 

Geo. Ure is busy moving his household goods to Neillsville this week.  He has rented the W. W. Taplin house.

 

Mrs. R. T. Washburn returned home Monday from a weeks visit with her parents at Millston.

 

A bunch of young people whiled away a pleasant evening at C. W. Chubb’s’ last Monday.

 

Otto Anding came home from Altoona last week.

 

Edna Klopf closed a very successful term of school Monday.

 

Bertha and Edna Helm were Neillsville callers between trains Wednesday.

 

Emil Hubing and Elsie Riedel spent Sunday with Laura Neitzel.

 

Henry and Ernest Sternitzky returned last week from their visit in Ashland County. They enjoyed their trip very much.

 

E. F. Brooks celebrated his 59th birthday last Sunday.  Many of his friends were present who enjoyed the evening and the supper very much.

 

Max Opelt has a fine lot of Christmas goods.  Better see them!

 

There will be a dance at Lynn Hall given by Arthur Chubb Dec. 31st.

 

Get your corn (cob and all) ground at Max Opelt’s Tuesdays and Fridays.

 

A baby boy was born to Mr. and Mrs. Gust Riedel Thursday morning.

 

Dr. Schultz shipped about $100 worth of furs from Granton Thursday.

 

John German will have an auction sale on Tuesday, Dec. 20th.
