Lautenbach, Child (11 SEP 1904 - 27 SEP 1905)

Two of Otto Lautenbach’s children were reported ill with bowel trouble on Tuesday of this week, the younger child being seriously so.

Later: The young child, aged 1 year and sixteen days, died at 2 o’clock Wednesday p.m.  The funeral is to be held at the German Lutheran Church at 2 o’clock this afternoon, Rev. Hass officiating, with interment in the nearby cemetery.  The parents have the sympathy of the entire community in their bereavement.  Only last week the News chronicled the death of an infant cousin of the deceased.

Note: We show an Alvin Lautenbach, b. 5 Feb 1904 and d. 19 Sep 1905, buried in the Zion American Cemetery near Granton.  I would guess this is the same child, but the dates don’t match up.
