York Center (15 July 1910)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Art Flint visited relatives near Neillsville Sunday.

 

Will Benedict is busy repairing the roof on his store building this week.  Guess Will things when it starts raining it won’t stop.

 

Miss Sadie Palmer who has been visiting friends and relatives at Merrill has returned home.

 

S. A. Adams transacted business at Neillsville Monday.

 

Jay Davis and Fred Heibel spent Sunday afternoon at Lincoln’s.

 

Miss Pearl Davis has returned to her home at Neillsville Sunday after visiting the past week with her sister Mrs. W. E. Benedict.

 

Ed Voigt still makes his usual calls.

 

Allie Turner is busy getting his house ready to be moved on the farm he has recently purchased.

 

About 100 young folks gathered at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Benedict and had a glorious time Friday evening.  Ice Cream and cake were served.

 

Jess and Glen Rowe and families who have been visiting with their parents Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Rowe the past week returned to their home in Milwaukee Tuesday.

 

Miss Alice Gullick returned to her home at Dodgeville after spending a couple weeks with her brother and wife Mr. and Mrs. Bert Gullick.

 

A large crowd attended the barn dance at Martin Lastofska Saturday eve.  All report a good time.

 

John Davis made a business trip to Loyal Saturday.
