Star Corner (29 April 1910)

 

Mr. Philip Breseman moved on his farm here Friday.

 

Arthur Teatz who has been taking treatment for spinal curvature at St. Mary’s Hospital at Chicago returned home Saturday much improved.

 

Ernest Keuer had a bee Friday to raise the roof of his house.

 

Farmers are inclined to feel discouraged now and then as they gaze through the window watching white flakes float through the air.

 

Miss Alta Rand returned to her school here after spending Saturday and Sunday at her home in Neillsville.

 

Miss Liddie Krause went to Granton Wednesday where she has a position as house maid.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hankey and family visited her mother Mrs. Keuer Thursday.

 

Miss Clara Watenpool is visiting her sister Mrs. O. Johnson, and attending school here.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Ed Wiesner visited his parents Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Wiesner Sunday.

 

Mr. E. Prange made F. Preston a pleasant call Thursday.

 

Miss Otellia Wiesner who has been visiting her cousin Miss Seif at Neillsville, returned home.

 

August Reimer was a Granton visitor Saturday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Teatz and daughter Mabel spent Tuesday evening very pleasantly at George Brooks’.

 

Mr. Theodore Breseman purchased forty acres of land joining his farm from Mr. B.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Nitschke and family were Neillsville visitors Wed.

 

P. E. Kampine a cheese buyer called on Frank Preston Wednesday.

 

John Breseman is expected home this week from Milwaukee.

 

Ernest Stubbs passed through our burg on his way to Lynn Tuesday.
