Coryell, Frank D. (18 APR 1876 - 25 FEB 1957)

 

 

Final Rites Held Here For Frank D. Coryell

 

   Funeral services for Frank De Forest Coryell, who died at his home of a heart attack at 8:30 a.m. Monday, February 25, were held in the Loyal Methodist church at 2 p.m. Friday, March 1.  The Rev. Virgil Holmes, pastor of the Neillsville Methodist Church, officiated and burial was in the Loyal Cemetery.

 

   The hymns, "Nearer, My God to Thee" and "In the Garden," were sung by James R. Colby.  Mrs. Byron Zepplin was organist.

 

   Pallbearers were John Goetz, Ralph Pratt, August Lemberg, Jesse Raab, John Habhegger, and Jake Henseler, Jr.  Military rites were conducted at the graveside.

 

   Relatives from out of town who attended the services were Mr. & Mrs. John Warosh and sons, David and James, of Edgar; Mr. and Mrs. Russell Mellien and Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Fremming and daughter, Linda, of Tucson, Arizona; Mrs. Eva Jensen, Chicago, Ill.; Miss Carol Jensen, Bloomington, Indiana; Mrs. Frank Newell and son, Howard, Burlington; Mr. and Mrs. William Ludwig and son, Roger, Barrington, Ill.; Mrs. Ehler Brinkman, son Floyd and daughter, Marie, Watertown; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Fossidel, Janesville; Mr. and Mrs. Clark Hatton, Mr. & Mrs. Evan Hatton; and Mrs. Wilbur Lenz and son, Harold, Greenwood; Arthur Johnston, Rockford, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Quade, Janesville; Mr. and Mrs. Carl Schmidt and Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Erdman, Augusta; and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Schmidt, Eleva.
