Chili (7 January 1910)

Mr. Bertschinger has a calf in his keeping which came in his yard about 6 weeks ago. Anybody owning same can get it by paying for the ad and feeding.

H. A. Knoll loaded a car of hay for A. Degener Tuesday afternoon in 3 hours. Quite a record! Henry said he didn’t believe in doing things by halves, so he went at it with 5 teams.

Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Reichert visited with their mother and brothers over Sunday.

The way the wind blew Tuesday night was not slow. Anybody going around street corners had to take a steady aim, or he or she would surely run into deep snow and get stuck.  In the morning the snow was only left in places.

Richard Samp (Full name was not readable) who was at Manitowoc, his former home returned Monday morning to help his brother in his factory.
