Royal Neighbors notice - The camp will met Wednesday afternoon, March 5th, with Mrs. Anna Hart.

 

Mr. and Mrs. C.P. Olson and sons were visitors last Sunday at the home of her sister, Mrs. Robert Giloy, and family in Marshfield.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Roy A. McMillan of Sycamore, Ill., were visitors in town last Friday.  They also visited at Neillsville before returning home.

 

Mr. and Mrs. A.W. Short Celebrated their forty-sixth wedding anniversary last Thursday, and their daughter, Mrs. Donald Sherwood of Eau Claire, came to spend the day with them.

 

Mrs. George Laffe is a patient at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, where she underwent an operation Monday for an intestinal ailment.  It is expected she can return home in about ten days.  The operation was a serious one.

 

Word was received by Mr. and Mrs. George Iffland of Fairchild, the fore part of the week, of the death of Mr. Iffland’s sister, Mrs. Libbie Miller, on Jan. 11th.  No particulars were given.

 

Tuesday afternoon Mrs. Wittren and Mrs. Eva Baumgartner were hostesses to a neighborhood party given in honor of Mrs. Perl Pickett.  A dozen ladies were present, including Mrs. Ed Dickie of Fairchild.  The Pickett family are moving soon to their new home on the north side, and these south side neighbors are happy that they are not going farther away.
