Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Morgan and children were Withee callers Tuesday. 

 

Mrs. Otis Adams of Abbotsford was a business visitor in Curtiss Tuesday.

 

Sheriff Wm. Bradford was a business visitor in this part of the county the first of the week. 

 

A. M. Zenzel of Clark was a Curtiss visitor Tuesday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. H. Jens and family visited friends at Chippewa Falls one evening last week. 

 

Mrs. Arnold Sills and daughter of Colby visited the Frank Schroeder home on day last week. 

 

Mr. and Mrs. Ben Machlett and son of Eau Claire, spent Sunday visiting at the home of Mrs. H. Machlett. 

 

Mr. and Mrs. Emery Neitzel and children spent Sunday at the home of Mrs. Neitzel’s sister, Mrs. Jorstad at Withee.

 

Mr. and Mrs. F. F. Machlett and Mrs. and Mrs. Arthur Rice and daughter spent Sunday at the home of Mrs. H. Machlett.

 

The many friends of Florence Lehman will be pleased to know that she is improving in health and is now able to be about. 

 

Mrs. L. Neitzel and daughter of Abbotsford and Mrs. J. Johnson and children spent Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. B. B. Green. 

 

F. H. Matthais has been in Madison the past week with other Highway Commissioners attended the annual road school held in that city. 

 

The Farmers Union held a meeting in the Curtiss village hall last Thursday evening and an unusually large crowd of members and friend attended. A. W. Young, state president of the Union was present and gave a very interesting talk on subjects of vital interest to he farmers and others closely associated with farm progress. 

 

Mr. and Mrs. H. Jens were visitors at Withee Sunday.

 

Farm week in Madison is drawing a large number of Wisconsin farm people to the Capitol city this week. Those attending from this immediate vicinity are e. M. Peterson, A. M. Hansen and Arnold Bakke, who left for Madison Wednesday. 

 

Rev. and Mrs. W. L. Anderson returned from Appleton, Minn., Wednesday evening, where they had been to attend the funeral of Mr. Anderson’s grandfather. 

 

Mr. and Mrs. Christ Olson and Matt Olson of Minneapolis, arrived at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Williams last week to attend the funeral of their mother, Mrs. Mary Olson.
