Clarence Trevalie was home for the week end.

 

Jack Brown of Minneapolis spent the week visiting friends here.

 

Louis Mourtiz made a business call to Owen Thursday evening.

 

Wm. Haas of Stetsonville was a business caller here Thursday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Kinzie and Charles Brown were Owen visitors Sunday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. James Fults and Mrs. Walter Fults drove to Park Falls Sunday.

 

Mrs. Ed. Munson of Withee, is here helping care for her father, Niles Parkhill.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Rouse and family were week end visitors with friends here.

 

Mrs. Herman Scheeler and Mrs. W. Marg of Granton and Mrs. Wm. Grottke and baby of Neillsville, visited at the Hans Amacher home Tuesday and attended the Legion Follies. 

 

Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Blake and Mrs. R. H. Treat were Chippewa Falls callers Thursday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Orin Perry and daughters visited relatives at Plainfield, Wisconsin Sunday.

 

Mrs. Carl Mundt of Colby and Mrs. H. J. Cornelius were Wausau callers Monday afternoon. 

 

Mrs. N. G. Peterson of Milwaukee was called here Tuesday on account of the serious illness of her father Niles Parkhill.

 

Mrs. George Kelsey returned from Tomah Thursday. She was called there on account of the serious illness of her father.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Bob Demsey and Mr. and Mrs. Gust Sila and Mr. and Mrs. Iver Johnson were entertained at the Chris Brether home Sunday.

 

Mrs. G. Fyrke of Chicago spent several days this week with her brother and family Mr. and Mrs. Nick Kluetch.

 

Miss Frances Jackson went to Milwaukee Wednesday on business and will remain in that city for several days.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Garbrecht and friend from Minneapolis came Wednesday for a visit with Mr. Garbrecht’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Garbrecht.

 

Mrs. Adolph Fricke and son Paul and Mrs. H. Demand and Rev. Lawton were at the Marshfield hospital Monday calling on Mr. Fricke who is a patient there. 

 

Mrs. Chas Blake was called to Minneapolis last Friday, her daughter having an attack of appendicitis. Mrs. Bland and Joyce came home Wednesday and Joyce will go to Marshfield for  an operation as soon as she is able. 

 

Harry Olson was on the sick list Wednesday and John Thomas did the cheese making in his absence. 

 

Audrey and Elaine Golamer invited several of their girl friend to their home last Thursday evening to help them celebrate their birthday.

 

Wm. Dolan of Loyal spent Sunday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Dolan.

 

Earl Dickinson spent a couple days last week with his sister, Mrs. Aug. Strebe.
