Bluemke, Ida  (15 APR 1886-AUG 1956)

 

Funeral services for Mrs. Ida Caroline Bluemke, 70, 531 N. Hubbard St., Horicon, were held Saturday at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church with Rev. O. G. Renner officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery.

 

Mrs. Bluemke is a native of Dodge county, died at the Lutheran hospital, Beaver Dam, at 4:55 a.m. on Wednesday of last week following an illness of about six months.

 

She was born April 15, 1886, in the town of Lowell, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fredrich Raabe. She attended grade school; there and was confirmed in Reeseville. She was married January 26, 1911, to Clarence Bluemke at the Loyal Trinity Lutheran Church.

 

She was a member of St. Stephen’s of St. Stephen’s church here, of the St. Stephen’s Ladies guild, and of the Horicon Americon Legion Auxiliary.

 

Survivors include her husband, a daughter, Thusnelda (Mrs. Edward Kruel), Horicon; a son, Howard, Bluemke, Horicon; six grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Anna Haslow, Loyal. She was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.

 

Pallbearers at the funeral were Paul Kruel, Howard Fellwock, Oscar Pautz, William Wille, Emil Wagner and R. F. Zimmerman.
