Vandeberg, Norma (15 April 1891 - 12 October 1962)

 

Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon from the Zion Lutheran Church in Granton for Mrs. Norma Vandeberg, 71, of Rt. 1, Granton, who died Friday. The Rev. L. E. Schreiber officiated and burial was made in Windfall Cemetery.

 

Mrs. Vandeberg, the former Norma Williams, was born April 15, 1891, in the Town of Grant, where she had spent most of her life.  On November 2, 1946, she was married to the late Abraham Vandeberg. They resided in Granton and after the death of her husband in 1951 she moved back to the Town of Grant, where she made her home with her sisters.  She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Granton.

 

She is survived by two sisters, Elenora and Elfrieda Williams of Granton; three step-sons, Lawrence Vandeberg of Marshfield, Clarence Vandeberg of Springfield, Ore., and Merle Vandeberg of Portland, Ore.; and by 16 grandchildren.

 

Pallbearers were Clarence and Stanley Sternitzky, Lucien and Armin Moh, Richard Hillert and Walter Trimberger.
