Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Melcher of Beloit were visitors with his sister, Mrs. Boullion, last Saturday.

 

N.S. Fristad and daughter Donna were visitors with his brother Harry and family near Colby, Sunday evening.  Mahlon Lund Jr. accompanied them.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Iffland and Mrs. E. Dickie of Fairchild, attended the funeral of Mrs. Bryner Saturday, and visited friends in town for the day.

 

Mrs. Warren Bolling of Milwaukee spent a few days last week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. Maeder, north of town.

 

Mrs. L.J. Sandmire and son, S-Sgt. Owen, of Richland Center, were guests at the W.L. Sandmire home Thursday and Friday of the past week.

 

Mr. and Mrs. J. Art Johnson attended a meeting of the Archer product dealers in Eau Claire Monday, and a banquet at the Hotel Eau Claire in the evening.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Maeder of 22 14 W. Hopkins St., Milwaukee, are the proud parents of a 7 lb. baby boy, born April 1st, 1946.  Mrs. Maeder was formerly Miss Bernadine McGaver of Fairchild.

 

Miss Veda, and Lyle and Alf Le Captain of Glen Flora, were calling on friends in town last Thursday afternoon.  The three have recently been discharged from the services and expect to be with their parents on the farm this summer.
