Dergance, Rosella H. (4 OCT 1922 - 5 JUL 2011)

 


Rosella H. Dergance, 88, of Neillsville, died Tuesday, July 5, 2011, at the Marshfield Care Center.


Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Greenwood. Burial will be held Friday at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Eagle. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church.


Rosella Hazel Severson was born Oct. 4, 1922, in Blanchardville, the daughter of Ben and Helen (Moe) Severson. After completing her schooling, Rosella worked in the Greenwood area doing housekeeping. She was united in marriage to Edwin John Dergance on March 14, 1942, in Greenwood. They moved to Chicago for a short time, where she worked in a toy factory, making doll houses. They moved to Willard in 1943, and bought a farm. Rosella worked the farm with her husband until retiring in 1983 and moving to Christie.


She is survived by her husband, Edwin, of Christie; two daughters, Shirley (James) Juul of Lake Bluff, Ill., and Carol Shebesta of Mukwonago; four grandchildren; and four sisters, Irene Bombach of Willard, Ruth Stroud of Pardeeville, Dorothy (Duane) Miller of Marshfield and Shirley (Ronald) Schardt of Shullsburg.
