Mr. and Mrs. Buford Schoonover of Waukesha spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Palmer Vinger.

 

M/Sgt. And Mrs. Keith M. Stewart and children, and his father, Robert Stewart, spent Friday in Appleton, with Mrs. Esper Jepsen, who is a patient at Memorial Hospital. They also visited at the Esper Jepsen home in Kaukauna.

 

Esper Jepsen and children of Kaukauna visited Sunday at the Robert Stewart home and with Mrs. Stewart at Memorial Hospital in Neillsville.

 

Wednesday evening guests at the Clarence Verhulst home were Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Verhulst and family, Mr. and Mrs. Celen Gotter and Mrs. Paul Dekker and children of Loyal, Miss Corrine Verhulst of Santa Monica, Calif., and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Verhulst and family.

 

Mrs. Lawrence Cox left Wednesday for Eau Claire to spend several days with her daughter, Mrs. Jerrold Kuester.

 

Mr. and Mrs. William Heiking of Lake Mills came Saturday for a visit at the home of Mrs. Minnie Cox, and with Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Cox.  They were accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Charles Dahnert of Cambridge, who also spent Saturday at the Cox homes.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Verhulst and daughter spent from Thursday until Sunday with relatives in Sheboygan and Waukesha.

 

A rummage and bake sale sponsored by St. Lucy’s group of St. Mary’s Catholic Church will be held Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. in  the Thrift Shop on Main Street, with Mrs. Patrick Plunkett and (missing names)

 

Miss Donna Krainz spent Thursday and Friday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Val Krainz. She returned to Marshfield, where she is a nursing student.

 

The first birthday of Mark John Brux was celebrated at the home of his parent, Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Brux, Tuesday afternoon.  Guests were Mrs. Harold Walters and children, Kathy, Randy and Jeffrey, and Mrs. Eugene Carteron and children, Dennis Ritajean and Gail.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Stewart returned Sunday evening after a two-week visit in Wooster, O., with their son-in-law and daughter, Dr. and Mrs. Robert Van Keuren.

 

Miss Sandra Miller, who attends a school of beauty culture in Minneapolis, spent the weekend with her mother, Mrs. Anita Miller.

 

Mrs. Daniel Olson under went surgery Monday at Memorial Hospital in Neillsville.

 

Mr. and Mrs. William Kuchenbecker and family were Sunday dinner guests of Mike Zirngible, father of Mrs. Kuchenbecker, in Medford Sunday.

 

Miss Marilyn Zirngible of Milwaukee spent the weekend at the home of her sister, Mrs. William Kuchenbecker.

 

Mrs. A. S. Rushka and Mrs. Robert Funke have returned to New Holstein after spending several days with their mother, Mrs. O. J. Amundson.  Other guests were Gordon Amundson and John Olson of Emerald.

 

Herbert Koenig of Milwaukee visited at the Carl Stabnow home from Wednesday until Sunday.  Mrs. Hazel Strebing (guessed at that name, faint copy) of Portland, Ore., who is spending time with her daughter, Mrs. Tom Behrens and family, was a Thursday (missing words)
