Krogness, Olaf (9 August 1885 - 12 September 1962)

 

Olaf Krogness, 77, of Greenwood died at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Neillsville, where he had been a patient for 25 days.  Death was attributed to cerebral thrombosis.

 

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon from Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Arvid Myhrwold officiating.  Burial was made in the Greenwood Cemetery.

 

Pallbearers were: Robert, William, Clayton, and Jimmie Englebretson, Archie and Orville Hendrickson.  Mrs. Otto Voie sang, "Asleep in Jesus Name" and "Under His Wings" with Mrs. Don Warner as accompanist.

 

Mr. Krogness was born August 9, 1885, in Cambridge.  He was married to the former Elizabeth Englebretson, who died April 1, 1958.

 

He is survived by four sons, Conrad, Emory, and Stewart at home and Arthur of Menomonee Falls. Also surviving are two brothers, Carl Krogness of Greenwood and Adolph Krogness of Sioux City, Ia.; and two grandchildren.
