Mrs. Edith Zimmerman returned last week from a visit with her daughter, Mrs. John Aebersold and family at Rockford, Ill.

Mrs. Lawrence Melcher, who is visiting relatives in Cleveland was a guest at the Boullion home Wednesday, on her way to Beloit.

Ted Green was here from his new home in Marathon County last week for a visit with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. F.D. Green.  A party of hunters from Marshfield vicinity accompanied him.  All were successful in the hunt.

Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Chenoweth, Leonidas, Mich., direct change of address to R. 1 Hastings, for the winter.  Mr. Chenoweth recently has a serious operation, followed by an illness, and they are at the home of a niece while he is convalescing.  Their son Lyle is with the army in Salzburg, Austria, a 1st Lt. in the 124 Medical Corps.

Rev. E.J. Sachtjen met up with an auto mishap on his way home from a trip to his son’s, Rev. Robert W. Sachtjen’s home at Brodhead the last of the week.  The father and son had traded cars, as the latter and his wife were making a trip to New York state.  The icy roads and fog conditions on his way home from Brodhead to Merrillan caused the collision which nearly wrecked both cars.  Fortunately there were no serious injuries in the accident.  Herbert Van Winter brought Rev. Sachtjen from Merrillan for the church services here last Sunday morning.
