Private First Class Genevieve Nibbe, U.S. Marine Corps Women’s Reserve, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry H. Nibbe, 1601 W. Fifth St., Red Wing, Minn., and Corp. George E. Hardan, U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, of Seattle, Wash., were united in a double ring wedding ceremony on Oct. 12, 1945, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Santa Ana, Calif.  Rev. George Busieker officiated.

Both bride and groom wore forest green uniforms.  A corsage of gardenias and red rose buds served as a colorful accessory to the bride’s attire.  Attendants were Private First Class Alice Haeche, Omaha, Neb., and Tech. Sgt. Edward Dolezel, Waco, Tex., friends of the couple.

After a brief honeymoon at the Mission Inn, Riverside, Calif., the newlyweds returned to their duty station, Marine Corps Air Station, El Toro, Santa Ana, Calif.
